Santa bought for my daughter for 5 years. I waited to review as I wanted to see how clean it was when it was washed. She had come completely clean - with washable markers, which do not go with him. I would say that it is appropriate for 4-7 yr olds. Children older than that is not the word, be called into question, or point to point, because it is very difficult. Overall, a good toy. My daughter likes.
